I don't know if I am truly ADD or not but I sure do feel like it lately. I have so many ideas rolling around in my heard for potential future writing projects that I usually put one on hold and start another, and then put that one on hold and start another, etc., etc. Am I alone in this weird ADD writing world?! I hope not.
I am just always scared that if I don't do that then my ideas will disappear resulting in looking at a blank page with nothing to write.

If I want to make this a full time gig one day, then I need to focus my attention on one project at a time. Perhaps instead of putting my current project aside for my next idea, I should have a notebook where I can compile a list of ideas and then RETURN to my current writing until finished?!
Every summer for the past two years I have self published a book. I need to have my current book done so that I can either self publish it this summer or send it out in hopes of someone publishing it for me. I have to admit that I am a little more scared than usual to have this book out for everyone to read. There is much more passion, sex, murder, deceit, cursing, etc. than people might expect coming from me (unless they know me well..then they might not be surprised), so it will take some courage to self publish it...but I am not one to shy away from a personal challenge (unless the challenge is sky diving or riding a roller coaster...no thank you! haha!).

I recently was looking at reading tips by Ellen Datlow. They are simple and good to keep in mind:

There is also a submission call for work published in 2015 for BEST HORROR OF THE YEAR...check her website out if you write horror and have something published or about to be published in 2015. What a great honor that would be!
Something to work towards....
