I LOVE Halloween. The creepiness, silliness, costumes, candy,....I just adore it all. As a kid I liked to be creative for my Halloween costumes. And by creative...that means taking a Dunkin Donuts apron and hat (my mother and sisters worked there for a bit sooo I had it handy and it was quite cute!), painted my face white, dark eyes, and blood everywhere! I am not sure what I was...a Dunkin Donuts killer I suppose.
Luckily, I have a mother that likes it when imagination is used....thank goodness. And luckily, I have a mother that has taught me to use that imagination.
So this past weekend I had to fly to and from San Francisco….
There is something so special about Autumn. I grew up in the country and when the temperatures begin to cool, old memories begin to rise. From raking leaves with my father to roasting marshmallows over the fire to make s'mores....I am in love with living in a state with the changing seasons.
