Do you ever look back at your past self and have to laugh? I do.
Many people cringe about getting older. I think I enjoy it. Yes, I have more grey hairs. Yes, my face is looking older. Yes, I have to work out now to maintain a body I am somewhat alright with. That is ok. I can deal with that because as I get older, my confidence grows. As I get older, I follow my dreams more. As I get older, I learn.

I look back to how I was twenty years ago and sometimes I just have to shake my head. I will probably do the same in twenty more years. I hope so, because that means I am growing as an individual. As I look back, here are the top things I have learned. Simple, but true.
- Who cares what people think of you. You will not and cannot please everyone. Just be happy with the person that you are. Stop worrying about everyone else's opinion of you.
- Don't think about following your dreams...go out and do it. The worst thing is that they don't come true, but at least you can have pride in doing your best. The best thing that could happen is that you live your dream.
- Stop stressing about things you have no control over. I know...easier said than done. Work on it. Life is so much more fun when you only worry about things you can change.
- Live life. Deal with your strange anxieties and just live life. Being a hermit is great, but sometimes you have to force yourself outside.
