In the last month, I have had two people say that they didn't think I had a "dark" imagination. First, they don't really know me. Second, never judge a book by its cover. Truly. I may be quiet but I write exactly what I want to without fear of anything. And that is how I think one should write: for yourself.
Of course, the fear is there when I self publish or send it out to publishers because then my greatest fears, dreams, most vivid nightmares, etc. are all out there for everyone to see; for everyone to judge.
No matter your fear. Just write. Write to free your pain. Write to tell your greatest dream. Write to scare yourself. Just Write. Worry about the fear later because as long as you love what you write and are proud of it...then that is all that matters.
And now off to continue writing my next book: "The Making."
If you cannot wait for that to be finished then feel free to take a moment and read my short stories book "Stories After Dark"....an interesting fact is that each short story is loosely based on something real about my past. For example.. I really did find something creepy just like in the last story "The Creek" (and yes the cover of the book is the actual creek from behind my house as a child).
