I am not a huge Valentine's gal; I would actually prefer to celebrate Friday the 13th more than Valentine's. I do give gifts and am thankful for any gifts I get. I mean.. who wouldn't be thankful for chocolate and flowers?!
On Valentine's Day, there were plenty of pictures on Facebook and Instagram showcasing the many flowers and gifts that people were receiving and giving. I, too, am guilty of that.
My favorite pictures were those of "wrong" Valentine's. You know, the pictures of little kittens with blood all over them as if they were zombies. Pictures of Freddy or Jason giving gifts instead of knife jabs. This made me think of the other types of gifts people are getting on Valentine's. The type of gifts that would actually make you dump your girlfriend or boyfriend or at least the gifts that would make you do a double take.

The link above gives a look at just those types of gifts. My favorite being the 50 Shades of Grey teddy bear and the Animal Sex Dinner (where you literally have dinner while watching animals have sex.) Hilarious!!
I think I will stick to my 5 pound weight gain from all the chocolates.

Another site I found had real life situations of Valentine's Day gone wrong. Everything from proposals gone wrong to dating three different guys and accidentally giving them each other's presents!

Even though I am somewhat against Valentine's Day because it sort of forces you to celebrate a relationship on a specific day when really you should celebrate it daily. Even my son was extra nice to me today saying "I just want to act like it is Valentine's Day every day of the year!" I agree.
